Skill-based bullet-hell pixel-art shooter Hostile Lands has left Early Access with version 1.0 on Steam, wrapping cartoon carnage from Pennsylvania developer studio Perceiving Light.
Crash-land on a hostile planet, fight bandits and bullet-spewing bosses to the escape pod, then watch Hostility rise so later runs grow harder for anyone left behind.
Thirty-six odd characters, extra bosses, new endings, sixty-plus guns, and two-player local co-op complete a Nuclear Throne-inspired loop built on aim, timing, and reading the room.
